Turku, Finland is chosen to host the 2012 U19 World Championships. This is most likely going to be the biggest U19 tournament so far.

Turku is located in the Southewest coast of Finland and has a great history of hosting big international sports events such us Ice Hockey World Championships and U18 World Cup in soccer.

City of Turku is supporting the games greatly by making the facilities available for free. The venues, Kupittaa sports park and Urheilupuisto, currently have 3 turf and 9 grass fields and by the year 2012 we will have two turf fields more.
